He highlighted the role of regional connectivity, including rail and road projects like the CASA railway alignment and the Quadrilateral Transit Trade Agreement, to boost trade and regional integration.
President Tokayev described Pakistan as a key partner in regional cooperation and reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to deepening ties. He emphasized expanding economic cooperation, enhancing connectivity, and promoting peace and stability. Several Kazakh business leaders, including three billionaires, were part of his delegation, underscoring the potential to achieve $1 billion in bilateral trade.
Both leaders welcomed numerous bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at strengthening Pakistan-Kazakhstan relations. They also highlighted opportunities for increased student exchange and tourism between the two countries.
