Samsung rolls out stable One UI 8 update for Galaxy Z Fold 6, Flip 6

Samsung has begun rolling  out the stable One UI 8 update based on Android 16 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The update is currently available for non-beta users in South Korea, with a wider global rollout, including  the US and other markets, expected in the  few days.

The update comes with the September 2025 security patch, ensuring that Samsung’s latest foldables remain up to date with the newest protections.

The rollout was confirmed by tipster Tarun Vats on X, who shared the   official build versions:

  • Galaxy Z Fold 6: F956NKSU2CYI7 / F956NOKR2CYI7 / F956NKSU2CYHC
  • Galaxy Z Flip 6: F741NKSU2CYI6 / F741NOKR2CYI6 / F741NKSU2CYHC

This follows Samsung’s rollout of One UI 8 to the Galaxy S25 series in the US just last week, which also carried the September security patch.

According to Samsung’s One UI 8 release schedule, dozens of additional Galaxy devices — including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and others — will receive the update between September and October 2025.
