Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has held a phone call with Turkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Al Jazeera reports.
Al Thani discussed diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions and “promote security and stability” in the region.
Fidan highlighted efforts to reach “a solution that ensures freedom of maritime navigation” and an agreement on “sustainable peace in the region”.
